Hostess gifts

I have 2 showers in one weekend. One is thrown by a good friend of mine in my Sunday School class who has a 1 year old little girl. The other is thrown by a married couple and is a cocktail style party. Any suggestions on hostess gifts for them? Thanks!

    Do they like certain things?  Personalized Stationery is good gift, if you have the time to order it.  I have also given a cookbook holder to a hostess that I knew loved to cook and some Kiehl's for another hostess that loved bubble bath (there is a store in Highland Village).  I try to cater to their likes when I give hostess gifts.  Or, you can go with the "shower" theme and do a bath robe/bath stuff, too.

    Personalized things are always nice.

    I did restaurant gift cards. Not personal or sentimental at all, but practical. My hostesses loved them.
