Tell me about your pediatrician!

Who do you love? who did you hate?  Why? 

Was looking into the The Northwestern Children's Practice though it has more negative reviews than positive on Yelp, and I can't find any reviews for Streeterville pediatrics.  Any information would be helpful.  Thank You!

    We use Dr Levine at Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group. Really like her- she's attentive, doesn't make you feel rushed, and the staff is very friendly. We have been able to get in same day for a sick visit and she didn't make me feel like an idiot when what I thought was an ear infection was just teething. I wasn't impressed with their lactation nurse, though- she told me to call my OB with a question that I know my OB would just tell me to call a lactation nurse for!

    We see Dr. Cano at Ravenswood Family Practice. LOVE her, but she's always booked. The practice has a lot of fantastic doctors, though. A friend of mine uses Dr. Merok and loves him for her son.

    The practice is just wonderful, though. They have good walk-in hours in the morning, they will get you an appointment same-day if you or your child really need to be seen, the nurses are friendly and knowledgeable and the doctors are amazing with the kids. I also love that I can see a doctor there as well. Family doctors rock.

    We go to Town & Country Pediatrics. Love the practice. I feel like 90% of the kids I know go there. They have a ton of doctors, and while we usually see Dr. Cherian (who we adore), we've had great experiences with everyone. My cousin is a freshman in high school and has gone there his entire life. The practice came highly recommended to me both from my aunt & uncle, as well as my OBGYN practice.

    Yikes! I could see why the yelp reviews of NWCP scared you off! I never looked at them when making my decision as I relied on the recommendations of friends when I chose a practice.

    I just wanted to say that I take my son to Dr. Goldstein at NWCP and he is fantastic. I've had nothing but positive experiences in seeing him and interacting with their on staff LC. I'll add that I saw the younger Dr. Weissbluth a couple times with DS and was less impressed, but Dr. Goldstein is awesome! 

    ETA: I've also heard very good things about Town & Country!
