My L&D trip - Tiffany, I know feel your pain!
It started yesterday with mild contractions 15 minutes apart for 2 hours. Then I woke up at 3am with bad period cramps that wouldnot go away. Around 9 this morning more contractions started, very irregular. Then they got closer and closer until they were 3 to 5 minutes apart. I still didn't want to call the doctor because they weren't all that painful. This is my 3rd so you woud think I would know but I felt clueless. DH made me call. My doctor was already at the hospital so she said come on over and get checked. I'm now 3cm dialated, I was 1cm a week and a half ago. The contractions were pretty regular for awhile. They had me walking and monitoring me but I didn't dialate anymore.....so here I sit typing from home! I'm just over 37 weeks so I know I have time to be like this...but wow, how uncomfortable to be sitting at home in pain. If I don't go on my own I am set for an induction on Monday anyway for medical reasons but I thought today just might have been the day! I'm glad that he wants to cook alittle longer but I am really hoping this pain goes away!!!
