My belly button is still an innie. I just recently (within the last week has started feeling "different") but it is still about a half inch deep. I realize I have a long way to go but I think outtie belly buttons are cute and I might be a little disappointed if I don't get one lol.
Anyone else take a long time to get their outtie? Anyone not get one at all?

DH says it is like a turkey timer. Once it pops up it means the bird is done

not to mention your fetus being a bird?
Same here! I teach 5th grade and the kids love feeling it. I thought that would drive me nuts, but it just makes me laugh when they feel it and say "ewwwww!" I wonder why they keep feeling it if it's so gross to them, lol

Want mine? I'm freaked out by it. LOL!
I never got one with Brendan, and I sported this one by 24 weeks or so. I have belly button issues to begin with, so this isn't helping...Hehehe
Your students touch your bellybutton??? Interesting...
OP - mine popped out really early. I promise you're not missing much.
Yeah, I definitely had the same reaction. I have to stop my students from touching me. It's NOT ok with me. Of course, my students are 19-21 year olds, not 10 year olds.
I thought it would bother me, but there are 6 pregnant teachers at my school this year and the kids are VERY interested in everything that changes. There are two girls that are very fascinated by it all and they're the ones who feel my belly button on occasion. Earlier along, I used to push their hands away, but I guess I got used to it. Most of them have pregnant cousins/aunts/etc. so they're used to all of it... more so than I am anyway, lol. To someone who's not an elementary teacher, I can see how odd that seems. Before being pregnant, it seemed really odd to me as well how other teachers would let the students touch their bellies. 10 year olds is one thing... strangers in a store is quite another. I guess I have that "don't touch me" look on my face when I'm out shopping or something because NOBODY has even tried to touch my belly.
