Booger sucker...

So our dog ate both booger suckers that we got from the hospital, and the 5 or so (none that really worked as well) that we have bought since. I seriously want to strangle her. DH took LO to the doc today and I told him a million times do NOT leave without one! Of course he forgot. Grrrrrrrrrrrr! Does anyone have one you bought that you recommend? I'm desperate!

    the one that came in the little noses saline spray kit is okay.  It's not nealry as good as the hospital ones. They also have the ones that look like the hospital brand at BRU.  I haven't tried it but they look the same!

    No bulb sucker can compare to the hospital one, we use the nose frida now

    We have the white American Red Cross one and love it way more then the hospital one.  The sucker part is wider and gets more boogies.

    I don't post much but check e-bay.  Just found a few there and they look the same.  All new and in un-opened packages.

    The Nose Frida.  It looks gross, but it's hygenic and a million times better than the regular kind.

    I have this one by Safety First and it's HORRIBLE!!!  Do not get it.  The plastic is too hard and it has hardly any suction...it was worthless.

    We have the electric Graco one and LOVE it!  it works great and you can actually see what you suck out, gross I know.

    The EXACT same thing happened to us! Then my friend had her LO#2 and I begged to have her second one. She obliged! I've bought about 4 different kinds in between dog eating incident and Friend's daughter being born and none work like it!

    nosefrida rocks. gross but gratifying when you get a lot out, hehe. 

    they hate it but it really helps & over time they've gotten more used to it, I don't think DS even cries out anymore (we do a 2 man sucker-  1 person holds their arms up by their heads to stabilize their head and keep them from blocking/grabbing and the other person sucks. sounds rough but it isn't & is how our NP recommended we try until they fight it less. )

    If you really want a bulb one, ask at a drugstore for one meant for ears, not noses. It'll be in the adult section -- works much better. Maybe as good as the hospital ones. But really -- Nose Frida all the way. It's the grossest thing I've ever loved!
