We have a small house, with no finished basement and the only play area we have is in the main room, where the TV is. We have a wood TV stand with sliding glass doors...we've been putting pillows in front of the glass doors but she can easily move the pillows...or worse tries to stand up using the pillows! I am terrified of her hitting her head on the corner/edge of the stand but also putting her hand/head through the glass...what can I do?
I've seen the edge guards things from One Step Ahead but the reviews were all terrible saying the adhesive doesn't stick...if we used a stronger adhesive, would that ruin the wood?
Re: TV stand - how to baby proof?
maybe a play yard that is extended to cover the areas that could harm her? I know they make various play yards and pet gates that can be extended over larger areas.

I should have mentioned that we bought one of those playard things and not only did she hate it but it literally took up what little space we have...she cried until one of us came in there with her...not that we mind going in there and playing with her but we can't always be in there with her...maybe we try rearranging and putting the coffee table (which is leather ottoman - all soft corners) in front of the TV stand....
Ugh....I also should have mentioned that I hate our house! LOL
Maybe wrap the tv and stand in the play yard?
