We were told we were having b/g twins at our 17 week scan. Today it was determined beyond all reasonable doubt we are having two girls! I am beyond thrilled, but now I need a new name

I wrote on here awhile back asking for help due to the fact my husband I wouldn't bend on our names. We are back to the drawing board. I no longer like my original name choices. We will be keeping Kendall Jane. Tell me if this is ridiculous...for some reason it just popped into my head, but I was thinking of the name Lila Grey. I am an archaeologist and also have a bachelors in History (Old English). Therefore, I love old names; my husband does not. Luckily I got away with Jane as a middle name. Grey popped into my head after Lady Jane Grey who was thought to be one of the most well educated women of her time... I thought it kind of connects the two girls....Does it sound super weird ? Please give your honest opinion.
Re: 17 week scan was wrong need a new name
Kendall Jane and Lila Grey, huh...hmmm....
Kendall goes with Grey and Lila goes with Jane. So I guess they work! However, Lila and Jane are very feminine girl names and Kendall and Grey are both more masculine names.
I think they work, but I would probably much rather two femine first names with the more masculine middle names...but they do work.
Lost Lilah (Audra's twin) at 26 weeks. Cause unknown. Forever in our hearts
Agree with all of this. Of course, I am a little biased on the name Lila(h), but I do love it paired with Grey!

I LOVE Lila Grey! I also love the connection of the middle names.
Kendall is NMS though, sorry!

I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

Both names sound really nice but Grey is nms. Gray/grey sounds so gloomy to me.
This!
I completely agree! The name Kendall to me sounds like that was the twin you thought was going to be a boy and just kept the name the same. So I agree that Jane and Lila sounds more feminine.
I think your choices are lovely, I also love old names. Lila Jane Grey sounds very elegant to me. I don't think there is anything weird about it. I like the name Jane also it is at the root of my name (Sheena). I think a lot of people are always trying to come up with new unique modern names and the classics are being left behind. Joan is also a beautiful alternative to Jane.
