My Maternity Pictures are Up!
Hello All!
I'm just so pleased with my maternity shoot results that I had to post them so that everyone could see! (Don't worry, I'm not under the illusion that everyone WANTS to see them, but I figure those who don't care won't click on this post.)
My husband and I are kind of nerdy (I'm more of a book nerd and he's more of a techie/sci-fi nerd) and we really wanted our pictures to reflect our interests and personalities. We also wanted them to be full of affection as these were our first "family" pictures. Our photographer, Amanda Williams--who is based in Arlington--was more than happy to help us come up with ideas for a very personalized shoot (generic shoots aren't really my thing). She listened to my requests and input and made the whole experience rather enjoyable. She's also a pretty laid-back person which made for a nice, casual atmosphere. (Now I know that's not for everyone. Some people prefer someone to tell them EXACTLY what to do and when and how, just like some people prefer studio photography. As long as you choose a photographer who matches what you're looking for, you're golden--so do your research and choose carefully!)
I really can't wait to get my disc of images so I can order some prints (I'm not crazy about the way the photos print out at those kiosks--again, a personal preference) and put them up!
