Does anyone know of a great place to take an infant for swim lessons in downtown Chicago? Preferably in or near the South Loop?

    The only place I know of is the Galter Life Center - Aquababies I think it is called?

    But that is north. Good luck with your search, if you do find one close to south loop please post as I'd like to know too!

    the lakeview YMCA gets great ratings, but that's the north side. perhaps there is a YMCA around your area?

    I was wondering the same thing.  I know the city parks offer them if they have indoor pools. They are usually inexpensive as well.

    Chicago Park District run swim lessons at Foscoe Park, which I think is on Racine and 14th (google to check). I've heard a lot of good things and we're going to sign up for the next round.
