Not pregnant, just bored. Here are my top 10 names for a potential future son. DD#1 is Amalia Pasqualina nn Molly (or Mollywobbles). I have such trouble with boys' names. I don't love any of them.
Please comment! I have a thick skin. Suggestions welcome ? I haven't found a boy's name I love yet.
Benjamin (my gpa's name)
Americo (my ggpa's name)
Conrad (DH's gpa's name)
Asa
Carlo
Frederick
Linus
Arthur
Walton (DH's mn)
Philip
Re: opinions on my boy list
I love Benjamin with Philip as my second choice. I'm not a fan of the others.
P.S. I love Amalia. It's our DD#2 MN.
I love Benjamin, Conrad, & Asa.
I like Frederick & Philip.
Carlo, Linus, Arthur, & Walton are ok just not my style.
The only one I don't care for is Americo.
I love the name Benjamin, especially with the nickname Ben. It's a strong classic.
I don't care for Americo, sorry. I like the sentiment but it is only one letter away from America which makes it sound a bit strange to my ear.
Conrad is okay. It's a strong name although it does remind me of Bye Bye Birdie.
Asa sounds to feminine IMHO. It also has the unfortunate pairing of "As" at the beginning that at some point is likely to be changed into a swear word for rear end.
I like Carlo. It sounds great with Amalia. I think that they have the same flair.
Frederick sounds a bit dated to me. I don't really care for Fred either.
I don't consider Linus to be a strong name. It sounds a bit wimpy, and I cannot break the Peanuts association.
Arthur is a great name. It sounds noble (King Arthur), and would be different enough from Amalia to make the alliteration pleasant.
I don't care for Walton. It's very surnamey and reminds me of the tv series The Waltons.
I love Philip. It sounds regal, is classic and is underused.
LOVE Conrad and Philip.
Benjamin is nice too.

Maybe Alasdair, Bennett, Edmond?
