Anyone else stuck at home with the snow? The wind is so bad, it's drifted over our back door.

We got 7 inches yesterday on top of the 3+ feet of snow we already have & the state does not know what to do with it & today it is freezing ice - so no school again. I am trying to embrace this New England winter.. it is the first time in years we have gotten this much snow. Now it is no longer fun for the kids since it is over their heads so we are trapped inside. Too early for wine? It's happy hour somewhere!

Ironically, Colorado's Front Range (areas east of the mountains) has gotten very little snow this year and it's been very mild. Mountains, however, have been dumped on. We have maybe an inch on the grass, but that's about it.

But that being said, it's currently -15 here at my house with a -35 wind chill--coldest air in a decade. I ain't going anywhere!

They were predicting Ice-maggedon here but all we got was rain. After last winter I'm not complaining about lack of snow though.

yuppers. i'm in chicago. fun times. can't wait to TRY to undig my car. not sure what the total is yet as it's still snowing- last i heard Ohare airport was at 19.5 inches!!

Yuck! Wind makes it so much worse! Fortunately we don't get the wind chill the midwest and east coast get. Stay inside, light a fire and watch some trash t.v. today and hopefully you won't lose power!

DH spent 2 hours clearing our driveway, our sidewalk and the neighbor's driveway. DS & I went for a walk(he on the sled) with our neighbors.

I guess I'll be having sex to make it up to him. Indifferent

We still have power but tree limbs and chunks of ice are falling over my house right now. Scary stuff. H is at work of course.

Hahaha! My DH spent 4 hours a day snowblowing our driveway during the bad storms in November/December and I didn't even give him a ____ ___! Embarrassed
