Question for those who go to Greenbriar

in D.C. Area Babies

what week do they start internals?  I have my 36 week tomorrow and I know they are going to do the GBS test.. HOPING they check and see if I'm dialating at all.

    oh! I want to learn about greenbriar. I have only been for gyn appts but have my 1st ob appt Monday. I have never met any of the drs... only the RN. :(

    you will only see the RN at your first appt and the nurse practicioner at your 2nd....most people dont see a dr until 16 weeks.  that being said I LOVE the practice.  I went through a mc with a D&C and a healthy pregnancy with them and they were fantastic.  Dr P did both the D&C and delivered DS.  I love them all thoguh, have not met the new one yet though!!

    I didn't get an internal until 37 weeks, sorry, I know you don't want to hear that!

    As far as Greenbriar info for the other poster...I love them too! :) I had a great experience with them and they were so understanding about all of my anxiety throughout the pregnancy and after. Dr. W delivered ds and that went really well, Dr. P is who I pick when I have a choice, but I do like them all! I haven't met the new doc yet either.

    I'm seeing Dr S this morning. Maybe I wil beg as long as she's in there anyway. To pp - you will see Connie again at your first ob visit. As for me, dr g delivered dd (dr p started the induction and dr w was with me most of the day, but dr g came on right before I started to push.). Dr P handled my first m/c and d&c, Dr W my second. Looks like Dr P will be starting this induction again and I will deliver with either her or Dr S depending on how fast ds comes. I'd love Dr G again, but she's on vaca most of that week :(
