Question for the shredders...

I started this yesterday and today I am dead. lol.  I could probably power through it, but would you recommend a rest day for a newbie?   My history is running 30 miles per week prior to pregnancy, but I'm having trouble since I cant take DD running in the snow  :)

  • I would suggest powering through it.  I think the goal is to do it everyday.  So far I have not had to skip (even though I have wanted to) and I can really see results!

  • Since you're a runner and I'm sure you will want to start running again, I would do every other day.  I also run and am back up to 18 miles a week but I do shred every other day.  It is killer on my knees.  Doing it everyday would really prevent me from running and I can't have that  - I'm training to PR for a 10k race coming up. Try it every other day the first week and see how you feel. 

  • Jillian would say to power through it.  I felt like that in the beginning too but stuck with it and I see great results.  I don't know if you are like me but incorporating a rest day leads to more rest days, etc.  Stick with it!
