I have the weather issue combined with infant twins. I have only left the house twice in the past two weeks. A family friend usually comes over on Wed afternoon but not this week b/c of the weather. So yeah, spring can come any day now!

I told DH I NEED to get out. There's a Home Depot literally like 1/2 mile from here, so I might see if they are open. I want to pick out hooks to finish our laundry room project so we can put our disaster house back together.

I want El Rodeo but I don't know if it's open. It burned down and is close to opening but I don't think yet.

Yummy Mexican! I think the closest is about 3 miles away. My fear is backing down the driveway. Our neighbors park on the street. If we clear that I think we'll be good to go.

Kathy, I think I know the area in which you live. I don't think El Rodeo is open yet. I would bet Home depot is open though.

and can I just say my child is being a total beast the last couple of days?! Something def hurts b/c he's sucking his thumb 24/7 which he usually only does if he is teething. I'm confused b/c all 4 of his canines are poked through and he was way happier since, but maybe they could hurt again as they are pushing through? All he has left is his 2 yr molars but I can't tell.

He won't eat and is just mad.

Kathy--That would be awesome! If only I was at my in-laws. They live up that way. I say you go to Wendy's and Home Depot! If Ritters was still open, I'd be all over that.

I wish Ritters was open, we walked there a few times before it closed!

I just laid Andrew down for a nap. Happy Mom. Party!!! Praying for a LONG LONG nap. Then we're venturing out.

I'm super duper bored. Grady is being needy. Abe is at work. We're stuck at my mom and dad's house for the day which means house stuff is being neglected. Grrr. I'm thankful that we're warm and have had power the whole time but I'd much rather be at home than at my parent's place. Plus, I'm a little worried about our place because we have several large Walnut trees with limbs overhanging our living room and garage so I'm wondering what we're going to find when we get home. Eeps!

Wishing you long nap vibes!

Cole is finally asleep, Brynn not so much. Yesterday Cole slept for 3 hours. That baby has never slept for three hours during the day. Brynn and I were able to make dinner, clean, do laundry, etc. Its crazy how much I can get accomplished when I only have one baby awake! Wink I wouldn't change it for the world though...

Even though Mady's still running a temp and her ears are killing her, all she wants to do is leave this house. She has put on her shoes and coat about 3 times while whining that she wants to go. Poor kid. DH is going stir-crazy and has shoveled 3 times just because he's bored.

My child is driving me insane. There have been multiple tantrums, resisting to take a nap and protesting so much that she induced vomiting. Once I finally got her bed cleaned up and got her down she is up again now only after 30mins...ACK! She will sleep for 2-2.5hrs. at daycare but at home, no, I'm lucky if I get an hour.

We have right around 2' of snow on the ground, a dog who has diarrhea, and a baby who won't nap.

Tired as I am, and in spite of the fact that there is no possible way to get my car out of its current drift, I'm kind of wishing I had class tonight (and that the buses were running so I could get there, but they aren't).
