Does what your LO ate as a baby have any reflection on what he/she will eat now? I'm a picky eater and really want to make sure that DD isn't, so I'm introducing all kinds of food that I won't eat. (For example, fish, avacado, various cheeses) So far she loves it all!! Is this any indicator of what she'll eat as she gets older??

My ds hated food as a baby and only wanted formula. As a toddler, he is exactly the same. He would live on milk if we let him. He is sooo picky. I tried offering him everything and he refused to eat it. Actually, it sounds exactly like my DH!
Today I bought dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets...nope...nada! My son is 3 and has never had a bite of any meat. It's very frustrating.

I'm going to go ahead and say no, it's not an indicator. Olivia is a good eater, but she certainly is more picky than she was. She eats a big variety, but foods that she had when she was a baby (like avocado, broccoli, spinach, etc.) take some convincing for her to try - even though, she's had them all along.
Sometimes, kids just get picky despite their parent's best efforts.
Not really, DD #1 ate anything and everything up until she was about 15 months or so and now won't eat anything that isn't a carb. The only way I can get her to eat vegetables is to cover them in Ranch dressing so they no longer taste like vegetables. Sometimes she'll eat meat but usually only if it's covered in sauce or can be dipped in ketchup somehow. However it must be something we're doing because we always hear about how great her appetite is at daycare and she eats pretty much anything they serve there. At home she barely eats and is pretty picky about it, even on the weekend when she is home all day with us.
I had a cousin that would only eat yogurt and bacon until he was about 3. He's an adult now and is not a picky eater at all.
