Well that was NOT a snowstorm!!

So on Monday they said 19 inches. I woke up this morning to 5 inches. I was really looking forward to a good snowstorm. 5 inches is nothing!! LOL Oh well. FI and I still have the day off together.

    I will share some of my snow with you! We have at least a foot out there. It's hard to measure exactly with all the blowing and drifting! DH and I are off today too. Enjoy your day :-)

    Aww that's a let down about the strom but at least the two of you are off today. I live in TX and it's 15 degrees here right now. No ice or snow but everyone is still acting as if the city is on lock down or something. It's hilarious to me, I left MH at home in bed, he was too chicken to get out of bed!!! Enjoy your day!

    We didn't get as much snow as expected either (7"), but more sleet/freezing rain than I would like.  It's still kinda snowing big fat pretty flakes this morning.  Almost tricks one into believing it's not going to be pure hell shoveling out all that snow and ice.

    We got nothing but rain and an inch of ice so far...if there's going to be precipitation, I'd prefer snow.  At least then I can stay at home with DH.

    We got plenty to share with everyone -- there are 7 + foot drifts blocking all of my doors, and my dogs couldn't get outside to pee this morning.  I have no idea how to clear the driveway since the drifts are higher than me.  We have 18 inches right now, but are expecting several more inches before it is out of here around 1 PM this afternoon....

    We got another 8 inches yesterday (on top of the nearly 5 feet on the ground from the last 6 weeks) It doesn't appear that it snowed much over night but it is currently POURING ice- I'm not sure which is worse.

    Enjoy your day off together!  The H and I are snowed in today because we're on a level 3 emergency and can't leave the house.  I think a lot of us have snow days today.

    My DH and I also have the day off.  This is the second day off in a row for me!!! It also means that I will have 1 less day of Spring Break vacation.

    I live in Michigan and everyone was getting ready for 20+ inches. We have maybe 5-10 here and of course everyone has the day off of work but me. : (
