Had a big panic attack at work today when I had quite a bit of brown spotting. Called the doctor's office and they wanted to see me right after work. Thankfully they found the h/b right away and it was 145-150 (don't think she could get a good reading because I was crying hysterically). She said it might be an issue with a low lying placenta. I have my anatomy scan next week so they will look at it then. I also might have a UTI. Yay. Anyone else have spotting this late?

Take it easy and try not to get caught up in your mind. I know it will seem like a long wait until the anatomy scan but try to stay positive.
I had spotting last week (at 16 weeks). It was so scary! But the doc checked and everything was fine. Had my regular appointment this morning and everything is still good! I had spotting in my first tri from 7 weeks until the end, but this was the first spotting I have had in the second tri, hopefully the ONLY spotting in the second tri! It is super stressful, but as long as baby's heart is beating and he/she is growing, thats all I can ask for!
Sorry you were spotting too, it does really stink! But glad to hear everything sounds ok!

Yes. I have had spotting.
All is fine, too.
I have a low lying placenta (as of now, hopefully it will shift.) and also my OB said the cervix tissue lining (I could be off w/ her exact wording) is extremely sensitive, so if you strain (think BM) or have sex, it could irritate.
