After having my son 4 days ago, this show puts a smile on my face! The comments these ladies are making, and the way they are reacting is making me so much better about my labor and delivery experience. Its refreshing to know I wasn't the only one begging for pain killers during the 15 minute wait for the epidural, or the father of my child being totally useless while I felt like I was literally dying!

Ok I m all about going natural or whatever but to not care enough about your baby to have the nurse be able to monitor the baby and check you is F********* rediculous. This couple is pissing me off! LOL I couldn't imagine being their nurse!

My sentiments exactly! They were hard to watch. I get wanting a natural birth... but when you start putting your child at risk then you are being a fool. The nurse was awesome though, I prob would have lost my cool if I were her.

I watched it last night! I found parts of it very humorous. I think it might've been a little too much reality for DH. Maybe in a few weeks after we've gone through this then he will appreciate it!
This show was great! I'm 38 weeks and 4 days and ever anxious. It was great to see what the husbands/fathers do in the situation and how each one is very different. I was honestly a little turned off by the attitude of the husband doing the natural birth and how rude and condescending he was to the nurse. I definitely respect everyone's wish to through labor and delivery diferently, but come on have some respect. The 1st mom was my favorite and her husband who told her she was loaded off of the pain meds :-) If any of you are nervous and getting impatient with your pregnancy, this show is a great way to make light of an uncomfortable situation and give you a real life view into what you could expect. Can't wait until next week!
I loved it! That natural birth couple pissed me off. They should have just stayed home and delivered in the bathtub. I am a physician and have delivered over 50 babies in residency...anytime a couple comes in with a "birth plan" we get the OR ready because too often they lead to emergency C-sections. To all out there with birth plans-I promise L&D nurses are YOUR #1 advocates and want nothing but the best for you and your babies. Try to be flexible for the sake of your LO.

This show made me giggle so much. It's definitely what I needed after a day like today!
I have a feeling that the uber medicated lady is going to be me
And if ANYONE eats Cheetos Puffs in the room... I will physically hurt them.
