I am really sick of hearing...

"You are so tiny."

"You barely even have a belly."

"Are you sure there is even a baby in there?" 

"So and so is only (insert amount of weeks fewer than I) and she is way bigger than you."

 

On one end yes this is good but to someone that is concerned on a daily basis if her baby is still in there growing this is not what she wants to hear.

    People need to STFU.  Honestly.  Someone told me last week they couldn't even tell I was KU.  Quite a difference from a couple of weeks ago.  See below.

    I had a really cute maternity shirt on that I loved.  A woman I work with saw me and told me that she didn't even know I was pg, but, wow, I  must be almost done, right?

    Um, no.  I was 18 weeks at the time.  You can barely tell I am pg in any other outfit, even now.  Thanks for ruining my day, self esteem and my love for the shirt.  I don't ever want to wear it again.

    You look great, so ignore them.  It's really not uncommon to not be showing very much at 20 weeks.  I'm not really sure why people think otherwise.

    I just saw your 20 week baby belly.  You look wonderful!  My belly looked very similar at that time during my pregnancy.  And, believe me, you will get a lot bigger!! Wink

    I hear ya Rachi.  I'm still getting these comments.  My favorite was "You don't even look pregnant."  Thanks buddy...I feel like an f-ing whale, but thanks.
