We just had our anatomy scan today & they are pretty sure we are having a baby girl! The technician said everything is normal and healthy with baby except that the umbilical cord is attached to the side of my placenta, instead of in the center of placenta. She said not always, but sometimes, this means the baby is born underweight. Has anyone had something similar? Was their baby a normal weight at birth? So far baby's weight and length is on track, baby is slightly smaller in length but weight is right on track. My husband and I think the length might be smaller based on my height as well, I'm only 5'2" and very petite.
