My DH is... insane...

First he was talking about walking over to his mother's house, with DD in the Bjorn. It's like, a 45 minute walk and we are about to get hit with the blizzard! So I pointed out that even if he could get there ok, it is not likely to be ok to walk BACK in. So he says ok, he'll have his mom drive them home. NO. NO. JUST STAY IN like a NORMAL person. UGH.

  • What is so important that he has to walk in the snow to his mother's house?

She has a bad back and he doesn't want her to shovel her own driveway. To which I said I don't give a rip, don't take my child out in a gdamn snowstorm. He also thinks she would enjoy the adventure.Ah, no.

Um, yeah, that's super nice of him to want to help his mom but maybe he can leave DC at home.  I'm sure if he can't go without the LO his mom will survive!

Now he's saying he will ask her to pick them up and drop them off (DH's vehicle is a van and I don't really like to have LO in it unless it's really unavoidable). Nobody needs to be out in this impending snow hell! So MIl might be stuck in her driveway for a while. Her and everyone else!

  • That is sweet that he wants to help his mother and shovel her driveway, but I agree with you that he doesn't need to take your daughter to do it. 45 minutes is a long time to be walking in such cold conditions, even for an adult!
  • He decided to dial back the crazy and stay in. Whew.
