Thank you to whoever recommended these a week or two back, sorry I don't remember who posted about them and I'm too lazy to go back through to see if I can find it. But THANKS!! I never would have looked at these except for the post and ours came yesterday - Ellie was entranced! Of course, right now she loves anything that she can push a button and get a little ditty from - I may already never need to hear "D says de, D says, de, all the letters make a sound...." again, but she is happy! So thanks for the great recommendation!

Re: Leapfrog Fridge Alphabet Magnets
My boys love it too.. me not so much anymore. a, a ,a ,a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, Liam does not like it to go past a ; ) But we also have the farm one - so cute, & then they think it is a riot when it moo's a couple of minutes after it is done playing.
I was thinking of getting this one for grandma's if she continues to LOVE the other one, better over there than my fridge
I use these when I am cooking & want her to stay in the kitchen where I can keep an eye on her. I thought she would LOVE them, but she just likes them. Loses interest after awhile & just likes to make a mess with them. But I am sure she'll eventually pay more attention. She'd rather read.
Adrian got that as a Christmas gift from my friend. I had no idea it existed but he loves it! He says some of the letters already and sometimes I take it with us in the car so he can be entertained in the back seat. The only issue is he knows how to keep it at the higher volume and it gives me such a headache sometimes, lol. Oh well, comes with the territory of being a mom!
Another good one my friend's son has (which I just ordered on amazon) is the Kidz Delight Bilingual Light N Sound Phonics. It has a bunch of buttons with letters and you can switch it to either English or Spanish. Adrian played with it a long time when he was over at my friend's house. I hope he likes it as much when he has his own. Here's a link:

Ada has the same one and loves it. She'll stand at the fridge and press X over and over and over...then switch to C and press it over and over and over.
We have the farm one too but the pieces have all been lost over the past few months. All that's left now is the front half of the purple cow and the front half of the blue sheep - not enough to make a match!
