Moms of infants and toddlers....when do you and DH do the deed?

Seriously?  There isn't enough time in the day!  If Carson (3 yo) is asleep, Bennett (3 mos) is awake.  Carson  goes to bed at 8pm, but Bennett not until 9:30 or 10pm - then I follow shortly after bc I get up for work at 5:30am.  Weekends are just all hands on deck mode.

I know it will get better when Bennett isn't so much an infant and is on a better schedule, but sheesh.

  • DD has recently started going to bed around 7 pm, when DS does. So...after that. ; )

  • I only have an infant and he goes to bed sometime between 7:30 and 9:30.  We moved him to his crib before I got the clear because I could never do the deed with the baby in the room!

  • DH has a random work schedule so we can usually fit it in during the day.
  • Midday naptime on the weekends or after everyone is asleep.  DD has currently put herself on a "go to bed for the night at 5 pm" schedule. It's actually kind of annoying, b/c she finishes her long chunk of sleep only a little bit after we go to bed.

  • We had way more time for this with just one child, I hear ya.  DD#1 doesn't nap anymore, so there is NO time without children it seems.  DD#1 goes to bed at 8, DD#2 at about 11 but is then up every 3-4 hours throughout the night.  Then, DD#1 is bright eyed and bushy tailed by 7 am.  There isn't even time for sleep let alone sex.  Hope that improves...
  • DD goes to bed at 7:30pm and sleeps for about 12 hours and rarely wakes up. DS sleeps in a co-sleeper next to us, but will go about 5 hours. So we usually have sex after he's asleep, but before we go to bed for the night.

  • We only have one that goes to bed about 9:00, so we have a little time then.  It sounds like you could start to put your LOs to sleep earlier in the evening.
