Weird ? .. How fast does food go to the baby?

I know this sounds weird but my little girl wont move for hours and then I start to eat and by the second bite she starts going crazy. I am not eating high sugar or anything like that. Whatever it is she starts to flip out! Is their a connection? I thought it took a while for the baby to get nutrients from the food I eat but is there something that lets her know i started eating? Lol. thanks!

    I feel the same thing- after I eat or have anything to drink, even water- the baby goes nutso.

    She may be hungry.  DS used to kick like crazy when I was due for a meal.  I was taking childbirth classes right around dinner time and didn't have time to stop to grab a bite before them.  He would go nuts at every class.

    could there be that quick an increase of blood flow or rise in temperature for digestion?  Or maybe it is your positioning or relaxation?  DS used to always kick after I had chocolate...even just a bite :)
