1. I'm in the ice belt.
2. I cracked open my creme brule of a car this morning (took me over an hour), but I can't get traction to get out of the driveway.
3. I'm cold.
4. 7dpIUI, BFN.
5. Round 1 of this storm is over, and we just have about 1/2" of ice on everything. Not too bad. In a couple hours we're supposed to get Round 2, which should be more ice and then snow. Awesome.
6. We're supposed to drive 6-7 hrs to OH for my Gpa's memorial tomorrow, and I'm worried we'll get stuck in town.
7. If we don't get pregnant this cycle, we'll have to sit out 2-3 cycles to catch back up on finances.
8. Those are going to be the hardest months of my life!
9. I might try to find a KD and DIY it
10. I really hope we don't lose electricity!
1. Between a holiday/ice/snow/sick kids I haven't worked a full week the entire month of January. And with vacation plans and a holiday, I am not working an entire week the month of February.
2. Carter is on day 3 of being sick with the flu. Gray is on day 2.
3. I leave for Florida on Friday. I have all of my fingers and toes crossed, I am knocking on wood, throwing salt over my shoulder, praying to the Illness Gods...whatever it takes that neither L or I get this mess.
4. Grayson slept until 9:45am. That is how I really know he is sick. He never sleeps past 6:30am. Aside from waking to take meds at 2am, he slept for nearly 14 hrs.
5. I am very tired of watching kids programming on tv. I think I have seen every PBS show.
6. It is supposed to be 70+ degrees in Florida this weekend. I had to e-mail my friend to ask her what people wear in 70 degree weather.
7. I am so thankful that the ice storm they predicted last night missed us. I hope the one they are calling for tonight misses us too.
8. We are now watching Cars. I love how into it Carter is...despite seeing it 1001x. He loves Cars. Per Carter, it is "Awesome as a Possum." (said with a little lisp.) LOL.
9. Pad Thai sounds really good for lunch. Too bad to we don't have any delivery places near us.
10. I have nothing else. My life right now revolves around sick kids, trying not to get sick, and waiting (not so patiently) to go to Florida.
1. It's snowing. Coming down at a good clip already. Today and tomorrow combined are supposed to total over a foot of snow. What a crazy winter!
2. Henry was awake from about 2-4:00 am, wanting to PLAY.
3. He's napping now.
4. Thinking about making crock pot lasanga today.
5. I'm not really into the idea of not leaving the house for two days straight.
6. Oh dear... Henry seems to be waking up from his nap. Let's hope I can convince him otherwise.

1. we are having ANOTHER snow storm (and another tomorrow)

5. Working from home means hours upon hours of searching the web for all things 'newly pregnant'
6. And now I am freaking out; I think it might have been better go to into the office. I am trying to relax but the house is dead silent and the snow is coming down so hard, I don't want to go out to clear my head.
7. Our first prenatal appointment is Valentines day (cute!) and our due date is our wedding anniversary (sigh.)
8. We told our sisters yesterday (all but my 17 year old sister - we are waiting to tell her and others until our 2nd beta is in tomorrow and we are ok) - OMG FUN!!! Their reactions were priceless!! From dropping groceries in a snow bank to tears to losing it and all out screaming over the phone.
9. I also told my bff who is over the moon.
10. I keep forgetting to breathe. I am excited and nervous. I hope the snow storm tomorrow doesn't push the 2nd beta back... I want to see the double (and it WILL) so I can relax. Having had one miscarriage, this is bringing back s*hit I totally forgot about
I feel like I am going to puke, but I am pretty sure it is nerves.

1. I think we are getting our taxes done today.
2. We used Turbo Tax to predict what we will get back/owe, hopefully those figures translate over to our tax lady.
3. The washer is leaking out of the input hose and neither J or I can tighten it enough to stop the leak. I might have to ask the LL to call his plumber.
4. I'm jealous of those of you who have snow.
5. Not so jealous that I want a blizzard to hit California though.
6. I miss coffee. I was a junkie.
7. I'm thinking of buying decaf and a bottle of creamer.
8. J hates the smell of coffee so it would be a late morning (when she's at work) treat for me.
9. I think I need a work at home job.
10. Re #9 - I don't think I need it, it would really help our stress level to have another income. We can survive without it but it would help.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
1. JB started throwing up on the car ride to work.
2. Because of #1, we're now at home. She's crawling around, seemingly fine, and I'm attempting to work from home.
3. School is definitely going to be closed tomorrow. I really can't afford two days at home in a row. This sucks.
4. Well, maybe I can get some much needed cleaning done.
5. Okay, my child has found the tv screen and insisted on banging on it. Probably not a good thing.
6. Please nap, please nap, please nap.
7. Mandy - I kinda giggled at your 7dpiui, bfn. Not at the bfn of course, but at you testing 7dpiui. I love (and miss and am jealous of) that unbridled excitement. I hope in a few more days that bfn turns into a bfp.
8. Gotta go switch the laundry (see I am getting stuff done!)
9. The kiddo doesn't seem to want to nap.
10. I paged BGG on BOTB the other day. I don't think she responded. I should probably page her here. I wonder how she is doing.
1. Another 12-18 inches over the next day or two. I don't know where we can put it (well, not we since I am banned from shoveling).
2. I miss the days when the office closed due to snow and you really had a day off. Telecommuting is usually good, but I wouldn't mind a day or bad TV and cuddling with the dog.
3. Speaking of said dog, though she is such a lap dog, she really does seem annoyed when one of us ends up home during the weekday. She seems to need her alone time.
4. Despite how awful down-sizing is, I am kind of enjoying the "smaller agency" feel of where I work these days.
5. 9 weeks tomorrow...still counting the days til 12 weeks and breathing easier.
6. My doctor's office called yesterday and said the doctor wanted me to come in for another ultrasound this week or next. My next appointment isn't until Feb 18th. I am trying not to worry, but she hasn't called me back yet to explain why even though she said everything looked fine last week.
7. Despite the worries, I have begun to look at strollers and nursery bedding. What fun! I might have to indulge a bit today.
8. I hope my wife (an elementary school principal) doesn't have too much trouble with the early dismissal day and has a safe drive home.
9. I need a tropical vacation.
10. Last year at this time, we were two weeks away from our late honeymoon in St. Lucia. Oh to have the funds to do that again!
1. Really glad we are missing the snow - I feel a little left out since most of my friends are in New England or the Midwest though
2. Jen woke up at 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep, so she cleaned for two hours. When I have insomnia, I at least have the good sense to squander the time watching terrible movies or reading magazines.
3. I have already eaten half of my lunch. I think I didn't have enough fuel in me from last night to get through this morning's workout, and my body is demanding back payment.
4. I hope the weather holds for my drive to Morgantown this weekend. I'm already nervous enough driving 4 hours each way by myself.
5. Next weekend is the 11th anniversary of my first date with Jen. Wow.
6. I need to convert 300 e-mails into one giant PDF. I have no idea how to do this without individually converting each e-mail and then knitting them together, which I do NOT want to do. If you have a better idea, please, please, please help a girl out.
7. The last thing we have to book for New Zealand is a glacier hike. But every time I look at the videos of different options, all I can think is "Where do you pee during a glacier hike?" :-/ There are no trees to squat behind!
8. I almost forgot to pay my bar dues this year. I happened to notice the form for a different state in a co-worker's office and I realized that 5:00pm was the deadline for my state. That would have been bad.

1. I had an interview yesterday for a job I could be in for a long time that is half the commute and more money than my current new job. I was one of 4 finalists. Long shot I think since I don't have a doctorate but I can dream, right?
2.OK, I might have spent the morning dreaming about that commute.
3. I am not sure if I like my new job.
4. I definately do not like living in my parents attic.
5. I cant go to the peri consult/testing next week because of said new job.
6. Still pretty sure we're having twins. Breaks my heart but I think it makes the most sense long term. and hell, short term too.
7. I am OBSESSED with strollers.
8. We're listing our house this weekend.
9. I am hoping the trains start sending out messages about issues so I can leave early. but not get stuck, knock on wood.

MommyMonster- We originally wanted to use a KD, but there is nobody in our life we trust enough to ask. It would have to be someone we were super close with, and that man just didn't exist, unfortunately. I really wish there were, though!
Two*True- I know how ridiculous I am.
I got these extra-super-early tests that claim bfps at 6dpo (10 mcg). I've been testing since 2dpiui so that I'd know when the hCG from the trigger had gone and the test was honestly positive. K thinks I'm insane and obsessing, and she's right!! She asked me to POAS this morning before she left for work, though, so she's crazy too.
1) can you die from too much snow? 'cause I've got a bad case.
2) my wife is terrified of driving in the snow so i'm leaving shortly to pick her and the kids up.
3) RB's budding language cracks me up. She calls our dog "dog dog"...and she calls our cat "dog dog cat", lol.
4) And her new favorite word is up. Everything is "up up up up up". or "mama up mama up mama up"!
5) Everyone was healthy this weekend. I cant remember the last time that happened.
6) RB is still paci-free. I'm still amazed!
7) Sprout is turning out to be quite the ladies man. The party invitation have been pouring in for him and they are all from girls. he's also onto girlfriend #3.
8) I think we'll be booking a rental for ptown family week shortly - anyone else going?
9) I cleaned some piles off my desk yesterday and it felt amazing.
10) similarly, DW gave me 45 uninterupted kid-free minutes this weekend to clean the kitchen. it was bliss. what has my life come to??
Blogs: Our Growing Family - CT Working Moms
We should talk. I am thinking of potentially taking Jelly Bean down for part of the week. I'm not sure boarding our two dogs for an entire week is in the budget.
1. We're not going to Minn tomorrow- stupid snow.
2. I'm closing the office at 2pm, and I'm doing the TTT at 1:30pm? productive
3. It took me 2 hours to get to work, and I live 20min away. Grr.
4. I love our newest pics of the babies (see sig). They are so freaking cute!
5. Two et al...we're probably going to Ptown right before family week (last week of July) since the twins bday is July 29, we want to be home for that. Its a great week to go, very chill, you should all come!

7. I fought my way in this AM for a meeting that almost raised me a lost of $$, but as I got to my office, they called and rescheduled. Grr.
8. The LO's are awesome sleepers: 7pm-6am. BUT....we still swaddle them...next week the weaning begins....ugh.
9. They are eating sweet potatoes, bananas, and cereal. We're making our own food as of now. Its not that hard...next week, apples!
10. I've been trying to schedule a meeting and have gone around 4 times to the 4 different people involved. These are the times I wish I had an assistant.
We should def talk. I found the perfect rental to share. Right on Commercial but it is awesome. I will find the link.
1. This snow stinks. I am sure we won't have school tomorrow. I am dreading my drive home.
2. DW went to pick up E so I didn't have to do it. Thank god.
3. I am going to be in school for so long in June it stinks.
4. E's 18 month appointment did not go well on several levels.
5. She actually lost weight since 15 months and dropped off the growth curve.
6. We are now trying to fatten her up with cream in her milk and butter and cheese in everything. It makes me very sad that she is struggling.
7. She also is going to have to be evaluated by EI again for expressive language again. This makes me sad too.
8. Did I mention prematurity sucks.
9. DW just texted that they are home. I still am dreading my drive home.

1. I'm sick of snow, but I'd rather have snow than the wintry mix we're forcasted to get.
2. My DW and I each took vacation yesterday to go to lunch for a restaurant week deal. It was amazing.
3. My sister is bugging me to come visit again soon, but I'm so sick of the drive to MA. Plus it gets expensive. But I'm a sucker for seeing my nephews.
4. I brought hot chocolate to work today. Yum.
5. I have to go see a client late tonight, yuck.
6. It still feels superly unreal that we're married and will someday TTC.
7. I wish I could make a decision about whether I want another graduate degree.
8. I started looking at stuff for planning a delayed honeymoon to Greece this summer.
9. I'm supposed to have a miner surgery that I'm avoiding like the plague. But my doc said I should do it before we TTC.

Cautiously optimistic.
1. I'm back in the office today after a meeting in southern Cal from Thursday-Saturday.
2. I took yesterday off as a result of my weekend and since my GF was off work, we slept in late...bliss.
3. Sorry to hear the snow struggles many of you are having. We are having oddly sunshiny weather here in Seattle. But the lack of precipitation does not bode well for our summer water supply.
4. Wish I could send some of this sunshine your way ladies!!!
5. And I wish we could get just a bit of snow. Not looking like we will be going snowboarding at all this winter. Boo.
6. DD is having a rough time napping at school due to loud talking teachers and that is making our nights miserable. I have already spoken with the assistant teacher about it, so today I mentioned it to the director on our way in. Ah, the lovely parent/teacher dance we all love to hate.
7. I got a smashing sinus cold the day before my trip to Cali. Yes, I was the snotty one on the plane. Today I feel like it's finally starting to clear.
8. I have so many things on my to-do list...but here I am.
9. Is it bad that I am daydreaming about a vacation that my girlfriend and I are thinking of taking a year from now?

1. I'm all thrown off on what day it is, since I had Thursday off for weather, worked Friday, weekend off, Monday off for sick baby, and am working today. I keep thinking its Monday or Thursday, but not Tuesday!
2. Gwen had a bug, she had a fever Sunday night thru last night. Trav is home with her today, but says her temp has been normal all day and she's acting fine. So glad my baby is better, but hate that she was sick to begin with.
3. I really, really, really want THESE shoes... but I don't normally spend that much (and that's the cheapest I can find them). They are a good replacement for the shoes I currently have (THESE, which apparently aren't made in the green anymore), which "broke" along the bottom, but I can't justify spending that much.
4. Especially since Trav just got me THESE (in Cinder/Pom Pom) really good winter boots (which I also really needed) for an early Valentine's Day gift (how romantic are we...
).
5. Stupid, favorite pair of shoes breaking.
6. My boss is working from home today, and instead of emailing me a project in one email... he'll mail it to me in parts, spread through 3 or 4 emails. Its really annoying and confusing.
7. I'm starving today. Seriously, I can't stop eating. Maybe because the babe was using me as an all-night-buffet/pacifier last night?
8. Nights like last night are a prime example of why I'm so glad I have a SO who's supportive of bedsharing. I would be dead today if I'd needed to get up and down every time she woke up.
9. Nights like last night are also a prime example of why I'm glad we don't bedshare all the time anymore!! We will bring her into bed in the morning, to get some extra sleep, or when she is sick and extra needy... but otherwise she sleeps in her crib. I love snuggles, but by this morning, I was completely "touched-out".

Bloggity Blog - You know you want to...
1. I am thankful that for the most part the snowstorm missed us--we are still 2 feet over average for the season!
2. I wish I was home with Eli right now--he is so curious and into everything these days, which is a lot of fun to watch!
3. It also means we can't turn our backs on him for more than a minute or he invariably finds something he shouldn't.
4. I am curious to see how we do once we have two.
5. Speaking of two, this pregnancy seems to be flying by as compared to our first.
6. We bought convertible car seats for Eli on Amazon this weekend--the infant seat is getting really heaving to lug around, but I will miss the convenience of not having to bundle him up.
7. I would really like to take a vacation. Last February we went to Hawaii for a week as a late honeymoon/babymoon. This year we need to save our vacation (and our dollars) for when the new baby comes.
8. I am not being very productive today. I just can't seem to stay on task. This may mean a late night
9. We are introducing bananas to Eli tonight and I really try to be there for each new food--so maybe I'll take work home with me...
10. A girl scout mom just came through taking cookie orders. Apparently starting next week they will also just have them on hand to buy w/o waiting. That may be trouble!
