DD is due in 2 weeks and we can't agree on a middle name--her first name is definitely Maren. I love Maren Olivia, but DH thinks that Olivia is too popular right now. Our last name begins with "S" and ends in "ens" so any S names or names that end in S or EN are out. I'd love to hear your suggestions! TIA!!
Re: Maren needs a middle name!
I think Olivia is really pretty with it. It's a popular first name, but not so much as a middle name.
Other suggestions:
Adele, Amelia, Elise, Kate, Claire, Elizabeth, Joy, Camille, Julianne, Fiona, Savannah, Delilah
Good luck! I really like Maren, very pretty!
I love Maren Olivia, actually. I don't think that popularity really matters with a middle name, because it's not that often that you would even say her whole name. I have Maren Sophia on my list (Sophia is my Great-Grandmother's name), but I know it goes against your stipulations. What about:
Maren Isabelle/Isabella
Maren Elizabeth
Maren Veronica
Maren Frances
Maren Kay
Maren Georgia
Maren Victoria
Maren Claire
Maren Julia
Maren Rosalie
Maren Paige
Maren Rebecca
Maren Blythe
Maren Charlotte
Maren Lydia
Maren Therese/Theresa
LOVE Maren!
I also like mn that are family names, even if they don't sound "perfect". Is there anyone you would like to honor with a mn? That is my suggestion.
Otherwise I think Maren Elizabeth is pretty
Leigh
Kay
Elizabeth
Violet
Alexis
You girls are good! I love:
Maren Julia
Maren Victoria
Maren Elizabeth
Maren Elise
The name Maren is honoring 3 of our 4 grandmas (2 Mary's and Marion), and our first DD is already named after DH's other grandma, so we definitely love the idea of honoring family members, but we just don't have anything left that we'd love to use for a middle name.
I agree with you all, I really like Olivia as a MN and I don't think it matters that it is popular. Maren is already a less common name, so it's not like we're naming her Emma Olivia (which actually is a cute name anyway). He's just super concerned with not giving her a name that's too popular! I still have two more weeks to work on him though
