Songs that make you think of your baby?

My daughter loves when we sing to her, so I was just wondering what songs you are singing to LO. Every time I sing My Wish by Rascal Flatts it brings tears to my eyes. Before having LO I didn't even listen to that song. Anyways just looking for some new songs that have a good meaning.

I used to always sing "haven't met you yet" by michael buble when I was pregnant with Abigail. So whenever I hear that song it makes me think of her being in my belly Smile

I cant say that I've heard any songs currently that make me think of her when I hear them now though. I'm sure we'll end up with lots and lots though!

"Anything Like Me" by Brad Paisley came out while I was pregnant. It makes me a little tearful, in a good way, thinking about all the things Hunter's going to get into growing up!

I don't know why, but Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. The lyrics "All that I am, all that I ever was, is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see." brings tears to my eyes.

Natty: Rock Me Gently by Andy Kim. It's not even close to anything about babies and very inappropriate if you listen to the lyrics, but she loves it when I dance with her to that song.

Katie: Howlin' at the Moon by Hank Williams. She's started doing this weird howl/cry thing and she sounds just like a wolf howling at the moon.

ETA - The only song I cannot listen to is "Baby Mine" from Dumbo. Hello, waterworks. Crying

My newst song for B is "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers. I sing it to her every morning. I will share some of the words with y'all if I may:

"It wont be like this for long" by Darius RUcker (the guys from Hootie and the Bolwfish) and "somehwere over the rainbow/What a wonderful world" its a mix of the two songs by Israel Iz and the lastname I can't even attempt to spell (its got like 15 letters in it), but its a Hawaiian sounding song. Both of these songs I dance with DD to and I always have to hold back tears.

"Just the way you are" - cant think of who its by but it goes like this:

And when you smile, the whole world stops and stares for a while (boy) your amazing just the way you are!

The sad part is this is my fiance's song to me but I cant help but to think of LO when I hear it!

Also, I love aerosmith "I can stay awake just to hear you breathing, watch you smile while you are sleeping, while your far away and dreaming" I sing it in my head while I hold him and he falls asleep.

I love that little guy!

Father & Daughter by Paul Simon.

My DH wells up everytime he hears it now and it makes me melt. I got him a frame with the lyrics engraved and put a pic of him and DD in it. LOVE!
