to turn the hourly beep on my super cheap watch and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to turn it off.

because its such a cheap watch, it runs fast, so the #&I^$#%U%$Z^Z actually beeps every 40 minutes.

and yes, i've hid it, but even when its in my closet with the doors shut, I can still hear it

Google the maker, I'm sure you can find instructions online. Usually it's hold down the set button the push the mode button. A little flag or arrow or something will appear/disappear on the screen. I've had that happen before except I didn't have a kid to blame. Embarrassed
