How many oz are your 8 week olds eating?

I'm BFing but DS gets one bottle a day from DH. He is currently drinking about 3.5oz and is satisfied but that seems small. How many oz are your 8 week olds drinking?

Remy is eating 5-6 oz per feeding 6-7 times per day. I think that's a lot but the Dr. said feed him if he's hungry!

3-4 oz every 3 hours during the day. He will take 6-7 before bed and has been STTN (11pm - 5am). Before he started sleeping longer stretches he would do 3-4oz every 3 hours around the clock.

I'm glad you said that because the few times Genna had a bottle she only took about 2oz and it had me a little worried. I know she gets more from me when she nurses.

Hard to say b/c I usually nurse and then give her a bottle of formula to top her off. Also, she has learned to hold out for the boob :-) I would estimate she takes about 3-4 oz total. She starts daycare in 2 weeks and I plan to send 4 oz bottles and see how much she takes and adjust from there.

DD will be 8 weeks Friday. We now have her on a different eating regiment due to her sleep pattern.

1st Bottle of the Day 6oz, then the rest of the day 4-5 oz and then 6 oz before bed.

This has her STTN. Last night she was out by 11 and slept till 8:45.

I combo feed and DS eats between 4 and 6 oz (most often 6 oz) every 3 hours or so. I worry he's eating too much, but it's better than worrying that he isn't eating enough (which is what I used to do). Always something to worry about!

He was 7lbs 13oz at birth and dropped down to 7lbs 2oz before we started supplementing. Two weeks ago when we saw the MW he was 11lbs 14oz (with clothes and diaper on) so I try not to let myself worry and just be happy he's growing!
