Toddlers: 24 Months+

moms of toddler + infant--diaper bag?

Did you graduate to a bigger diaper bag when #2 came along?  I keep thinking of how jammed full my bag always was when DS was small and I'm wondering how I'll fit everything.  Until DS #1 potty trains, I feel like I'll have an overflowing bag!  Any tips?

  • I have an OiOi messenger bag that was great for those first few months that you need a change of clothes for both you and the baby.  I still use it for daycare because both kids need extra clothes.

My daily use is a petunia picklebottom and could not be happier.  I used to hate back pack bags, but now that I have two I can't live without it.  It can be a messenger also.

  • I carried a cheap diaper bag with DD1, but when DD2 came along I splurged on a JuJuBe Packabe. Ditto pp that having a diaper bag that I can carry as a messenger or a backpack is really great with two kids.

I keep a pouch inside with each girl's changing supplies so I can just grab whichever one I need without digging through the whole bag. Sippies, snacks, toys, and a pocket for my stuff -- I love that bag, it's just the right size for day-to-day.

  • i didnt want to spend a ton (seeing i have five diaper bags from ds) so i bought a backpack at macys.  it was on sale from $90 to $30!  its a hiking bag so it has two cup holders on the sides (perfect for sippys and bottles) and three big pockets and two small zipper parts.  i love having all the different compartments to stay organized and that i can wear it on my back while carrying two little ones.
  • I just bought a cheapo backpack from Target ($10). It works great for what I need!
