F/U: Advice needed- contractions

So I ended up having to go into labor and delivery tonight. My doctor is an hour away and she advised me to go to the hospital in my town because I live in Missouri and we're about to get 22 inches of snow. They monitored me and, of course, when I get there.. the contractions slowed down a ton! (Like when you go to the doctor for a cough and you don't cough once when you're there!) But, the monitor picked up a few before they stopped. The on call doctor checked my cervix and although it's closed, he said it felt much too soft and short for 32 weeks and thinks I'll definitely be going into labor sooner than later.

I have an appointment with my doctor later this week, so we'll see what she says about it.
