  I think by the time they thought they might need to go for a c/s baby was already too far down in the birth canal.  They had to use the forceps to get him out.

  I'm impressed. At the 3 hour mark I gave into the c/section.

  Do you know if they had to intervene in any other way?? ie; vacuum? I'm always curious about that when the baby is so large.

  And LisaFrank, see my above post ... they had to use the forceps to finally get him out because of his size.  I felt so bad for her ... she's pretty young.

  Oh man.  My sister had a forceps delivery with my niece and let's just say that's not quite the same down there. 3 vaginal surgeries later and everything
