... do you have any tricks for relieving the "ouch" that comes from the first few times in the saddle? When I first lost weight to get pregnant, I did a LOT of spin classes (Les Mills RPM). I do remember that it took some time to get used to the hard saddle of the spin bikes, and just dealt with it. Today was my first day back in that class since 15 weeks pregnant (having SPD, it was way too uncomfortable to sit on the seat). I knew I'd hurt today, but I'm wondering if there are any tricks to making one more comfortable faster.

I "cheat" and wear bike shorts with a gel pad in the crotch. It looks like I have a diaper on underneath, but I don't care - it's so much more comfortable.
2 years TTC with 5 losses, 1 year recovering, 6 months applying for adoption approval, and almost a year waiting for a placement. Then, a miracle BFP at age 36!
