The coming storm is THAT bad!?

City offices are closed tomorrow, the police 'implemented phase 3' of weather stuff and 30 national guard bases have been transfromed to shelters.

It's barely flurrying! They're calling for a white-out and blizzards! Glad I went to get milk tonight and grocery shopping yesterday.

    People are making it out to be so much worse than it might be.  Tonight at the store (a mega Wal-mart) they only had 3 loaves of bread left, and only the brown expensive eggs left.  People sure were stocking up.  I hope you don't a blizzard, and the meteorologists are wrong.

    I hope so too. Normally, with snow, they are right. When ti comes to heat and rain, they're typically way off. I know it's going to be bad. Even if it doesn't snow it will be. All the ice we've gotten make driving so hard. I went to Walgreens to get milk and even slight hills are impossible. My mom couldn't walk up her own driveway this afternoon! Bleh.

    Yikes! I've said it before and I'll say it again, all the horrible weather related crap you people deal with everywhere else in the country (hurricanes, tornadoes, snow) is so much worse than an earthquake once every 15 years here.

    I'm so sorry you are all dealing with such bad storms. I wish I could send some of our weather your way! I hope the newscasters are wrong and it's not as bad as they're anticipating.
