I learned something new this weekend

Garbage disposals don't like shot glasses. Glass flew out, smoke, burning... all around badness. And because it was 3am and we were all a little "happy", it was really funny at the time.

Now? Not so much.

Totally ruined it.

    Oh no.  They do not really like measuring spoons, wooden spoons, small spatula ends, or SOS pads either. 

    Glass sounds scary though.

    Oh no!! At least it was funny at the time. They aren't too hard to replace. DH and I had to replace ours last year.

    I've so been there. Ditto on the laughing and the replacing it being easy. Very basic plumbing.
