I totally called it!!

Way back on December 19th, a friend on FB wrote something... I made a post about it here: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/46777626.aspx

Well... she came out that indeed she is pregnant and due September 3rd... meaning, she would have found out about the time she made that post.

I am happy for her. I grew up with her DH and worked with her in the summer. BUT. Even her husband has the ultrasound picture as his profile picture. Ugh. Someone shoot me now. I see some future hiding!

    Bleh....it is never ending.  Every time I think I know who is "at risk", someone else pops up.  Heck, a FB friend just posted a birth announcement and I didn't even know she was pregnant....I guess it's better that way? :)

    Another friend posted a black and white picture of her kitten and I only saw half of it and I thought it was an ultrasound picture and I was like W. T. H. 

    I am happy for my friends, truly...because one day it WILL be us in their shoes...but for now, it's just like a little stab in the heart and reminder of my m/c, etc.

    I hate FB for that very reason, everybody and their college roommates best friends cousin seems to end up on my FB page telling me they are KTFU 5 seconds after they have peed on the freaking stick

    DS no hb 11/17/10 at 21w1d, d&e 11/24,demise due to fetal hydrops, from congestive heart failure, probably caused by structural malformation

    Ugh. I hate being right in ways like that. Good for them for being pregnant, but now they can STFU about it. Sorry Cashew. I can't wait until you have the chance to write obnoxious pregnancy statuses on facebook- though I know you won't. 
    After two losses, a rainbow arrived! DD born 11.5.11
    Dx with severe Asherman's syndrome after a botched PP D&C (pursuing med mal)
    Hysteroscopy Oct '13, not enough progress 
    Hysteroscopy Jan '14, given an end-of-the-road diagnosis
    Joined International Asherman's Association April '14 
    Not ready to give up yet.
    Hysteroscopy with Dr. Isaacson (an expert in the USA) 6.2.14: Good prognosis, at least 50% of cavity open.
    Repeat hysteroscopy scheduled with Dr. I on 6.16.14. Great progress. Unbenched!!!!
    Discussing actively TTC with DH after the heartache of the last year. We're both reeling.

    Yeah I feel like everyday I go on facebook, I either have to read a PG status update or see an ultrasound pic.  That's why I have hid a few people on facebook!  That's also why I am on this board now more than facebook!!

    Ergh.  You are wise Cashew.  I hope she has a H&H 9 mos - but that still doesn't take the sting out of it.  I would hide her (and her husband) ASAP.

    Agreed. Especially because not everyone saw the first post- so I was still getting all of the pregnancy questions etc. I had to post about our loss twice and still got pg comments afterwards. People can be really dumb sometimes.

    Everyone knew with me. Unless they hid under a rock. I was a stupid FH who's every post was about being pregnant and being tired, and painting the room and so on. I don't think I ever had u/s pics as my profile pic though.

    Next time around I am not telling anyone! FB WAS the hardest to untell.
