Anyone else use dollar store OPK?

Cause IMO... they suck! Granted I have nothing to base this on but the whole "any line means LH surge" I think is crap, plus based on what I've seen on the OPK sites (cause yeah I'm that neurotic) that no matter what the line has to be darker than the control. So tonight I *think* I got a positive OPK but my CM doesn't match up and it just seems pretty late to be Oing. Just wondered if anyone else has used or uses them - or maybe I'm just newbie OPK and can't figure it out.

    I have used them before... but never even ovulated when I was using them. So honestly I never saw a +.

    Do the Dollar store ones say that any line means an LH surge? What a bunch of bull! For mostly all OPKs the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control.

    I have used them before, but I never got a solid +.  I didn't use them very long though.

    They do - its driving me crazy! Cause if that's so I've got the weirdest body ever cause I got some faint lines last week... then no lines... then a faint yesterday... and a dark tonight. wtf. New choice needs to get their instructions right!

    I used them all the time before we started IUI and would get a positive with them.  I haven't really looked at them since the m/c, but they used  to say equal to or darker than the control.  I'll have to look at the new boxes.

    I have never used those before, but I wanted to let you know that CD17 is not too late.  I tend to O around CD 19-21.  I did give up on OPKs eventually because I never seemed to catch my LH surge.

    A couple different people have asked about the New Choice OPKs. I guess the instructions are a bit confusing. I'm getting the impression that NC sucks! Are you going to give the Wondfos a try next month or go with the fancier OPKs?

    I'll probably go w/ wondfos just b/c of the price and the fact that I will probably test neurotically to see if I really am Oing this late (I'm still not a believer). But yeah the instructions are odd, oh well, poor DH, guess its more molesting for him!

    I'm sure your DH won't mind some extra lovin'! You can always get the Wondfos and when you think you have a +, double check with the pricier ones if you have any doubts. Just sayin'....and it gives you more stuff to pee on! Stick out tongue
