I am so excited, school is canceled tomorrow! It is too cold for school here (mind you it was 70 on Saturday). Granted I still took my kids on a public transit adventure today. Yeah, I can spend another day working on baby stuff and vegging out. Okay, happy dance is done.

LUCKY! Staff always have to report when our school closes regardless of how bad it is outside.
Unless of course the power goes out... ::fingers crossed::
That SUCKS! I'm sorry! I am not expecting to go in tomorrow .... hoping, hoping ..... Bu then again, ask me again in May when we are making up these days ....

wohooo, getting the call the night before is the best!
We are supposed to get a wintry mix here for tomorrow and then possibly more snow on Wed. night. I would love another snow day here too.
enjoy!
Seriously?! It's too dangerous for parents to be driving kids to school, but the staff can risk it? That sucks!
Yup! It is so ridiculous. Even if there are driving bans we have to report, or use PTO. I just don't understand why we are forced to risk getting into an accident or getting a ticket for driving during a ban, especially if there are no students to teach anyway. Can you talk some sense into them (the almighty administrators) for me?
Mine hasn't cancled either!! I am wishing and hoping!!!!! But just incase they don't I have my black sweatpants ready to wear with a red maternity turtleneck!! They can make me work, but they can't make me wear real clothes!!
Have fun tomorrow!! Enjoy your day off!!
Won't you be on maternity leave?
I teach for a private organization that provides services for students with disabilities from Buffalo and the surrounding districts (West Seneca, OP, Tonawanda, etc). So our school and all of the districts get closed but staff still have to report. It has actually become a union issue because so many people aren't able to get to work and they are forced to use their PTO or people are forced to risk driving to work.
So jealous! We had off Thursday and Friday due to the big storm that hit the East coast. I am now hoping that they call tomorrow, or at least a delay due to the snow/freezing rain that is in the forecast for tomorrow.
Cross your fingers for me!
