Good evening!  I am joining the support here!  My husband and I will be able to try after my next cycle and I would love to get to know you ladies. 

I do not have any friends who have experienced a m/c and it's difficult for me to talk to them because the typical response or "suggestions" given to me are, "You have plenty of time to keep trying," "this just happens sometimes," or my personal favorite (sarcasm), "Everything happens for a reason." While I do realize that things do happen for a reason, it doesn't make any of it easier and I truly look forward to sharing with you all and knowing you will understand exactly how I feel.

    I'm new here myself, but these wonderful ladies have a wealth of knowledge/experience to share, and they have a sense of humour!

    Welcome to the board, and I'm very sorry for your loss. You'll find much better support here on the board, than that which you've been dealing with, that's for sure. These women are wonderful.

    BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    Welcome to the board.  I hope that your say is short and sweet.  It does make a good substitue for support when no one IRL understands your loss.  The ladies here are amazing.

    I hope you find the support system here that your friends can't provide. In my experience people don't really know how to be supportive unless they've been there. The women here are fantastic, and can provide love and support to get you through the process. I hope your stay on TTCAL is short and that AF hurries up and gets here for you!
    After two losses, a rainbow arrived! DD born 11.5.11
    Dx with severe Asherman's syndrome after a botched PP D&C (pursuing med mal)
    Hysteroscopy Oct '13, not enough progress 
    Hysteroscopy Jan '14, given an end-of-the-road diagnosis
    Joined International Asherman's Association April '14 
    Not ready to give up yet.
    Hysteroscopy with Dr. Isaacson (an expert in the USA) 6.2.14: Good prognosis, at least 50% of cavity open.
    Repeat hysteroscopy scheduled with Dr. I on 6.16.14. Great progress. Unbenched!!!!
    Discussing actively TTC with DH after the heartache of the last year. We're both reeling.

    I'm sorry for your loss.  Welcome to the board!  Yeah, most people IRL aren't really supportive.  Most of the time they don't know what to say.  You want to shake them and tell them "What you're saying is not helping me, it's hurting me!!".  It would be great if they could just say," I'm sorry.  I'm hear for you if you need anything at all.".  You will find great support here and I hope your stay is short and sweet!

    DS no hb 11/17/10 at 21w1d, d&e 11/24,demise due to fetal hydrops, from congestive heart failure, probably caused by structural malformation

    Sorry you have to go through this.  You are right it is hard talking to people who have not been there, alot of my friends listen but can't truly understand why after a month I am still sad sometimes.  When you need support its a good place to come. Good luck, hopefully you won't have to stay here long.

    I'm sorry for your loss. I have found that people irl who have never experienced a loss often do not know what to say or try to say the right thing and screw up. Gawd, but "everything happens for a reason" is horrible. I can't decide if it's better or worse than "just relax and try again." Anyways, welcome to the board. The ladies here are amazing. Hope your stay is short and sweet.
