I have severe allergies in my eyes and I am getting sick of having to wear contacts when my eyes itch. What was your experience like? Also if you don't mind sharing how much it cost. Thanks!
I had it done about 7 years ago and it was $5,000.. but prices have dropped significantly since then.. I had a great experience, and I am 20/20 in both eyes, I would recommend it.
My H had it done about 6 years ago. He had really bad eyes (I don't know the exact details), and he now has 20/20 vision. The surgery was very fast (I watched) and the recovery was simple. He doesn't have any issues with night vision like some get post-lasik.

It was a very good decision.
DH had it done back in 04 I think. He paid $5000. He DOES have night vision issues. The starbursts expand across his field of vision and cover any possible road obstructions making it dangerous for him to drive.
When he brought it up to the doctor the doctor asked why he would need to be out driving at night. He said just stay home.
I had it back in '99. It was $3000. LOVE it. It was quick, relatively painless (after meds wore off just had dry scratchy eyes), and I went to work the next day. I had dry eyes for awhile afterwards every morning but that went away eventually.
It's been almost 12 years now and I'm happy I had it done.
I had it done 10 years ago. I don't know the cost because it was a graduation gift from my parents. I absolutely love my experience with it, HOWEVER my eyes have changed. They are no longer 20/20. I started noticing the difference at night about 3 years ago. I have since been told that it is pretty common for people to need tweaks after 7-10 years. If I am a candidate, I will have it done again.

Just do your research.
