Back from NT scan.... PIP.

Everything went great. It was so wonderful to see the LO again and amazing how much it had changed just in the last two weeks.
The doctor said the nose looked good and the NT measurement was 2.8. He said this was normal. However, I know it's on the high end of normal, which makes me worried. Still, he didn't seem concerned. I'll get the results from the bloodwork toward the end of this week. I'm glad everything went well, and trying to focus on the fact that he said it was normal. We'll see.
The u/s tech also commented several times about how long this LO's arms and legs are. Although, that's no surprise considering I'm 6'0 and DH is 6'2.

Yay! 2.8 is def. normal, esp. for where you are at gestation. 3.0 is the cut off for being "elevated" and even up to 3.5 is still considered "not too bad". I have been through hell the past 2 weeks because I measured 3.2 at 12w5d. My bw was stellar though and my CVS was preliminary OK.
And long arms and legs is great, as a soft marker for DS is short femurs. I have infomamtion overload after my saga

Thank you for posting this. It makes me feel so much better. While I'm only 13w1d, the baby has been consistently ahead and was measuring 13w6d today. So, maybe 2.8 isn't so bad.
I'm so glad that everything has turned out ok as far as your CVS. Exciting that you are expecting a little girl!!
