Vent: Parking at the OB office....

In the beginning of my pregnancy it seems like parking was fine, I almost always got close to the door (there is not maternity parking at my office because its a huge medical building with lots of drs) but now that I'm a huge whale with lots of sciatic pain, I CAN NOT find a spot for my life! The last 2 appointments I've had I ended up being late because I had to drive around for 15 minutes trying to find a spot! Ugh!

Just had to post because I read the pelvis cracking post below and I sympathized...

Oh this drives me nuts too! I work at the hospital where my OB office is, and while there are TONS of handicap spots, there are no maternity parking spots or mothers with small children spots. Our employee lots are pretty far away from the door and always full and you have to walk a fair distance to get to the doors, and I always get BH contractions on my way in and out of the building, I don't know if it is the cold or the walking or the combination of both...Thankfully the pediatrician we decided to go with (not in the same building) has great spots for mothers with small children.

My OB is also located in the hospital where I'm a nurse. You would think employee parking would be ideal. Ha! I can never find a spot, and end up walking up multiple levels. I dont mind walking, but its also doesnt seem safe to me. There should be maternity parking available.
