If you've had a non-pukie flu?

So apparently I have the flu, lucky me.  I guess this is what I get for ranting the other day about sick I was of being sick, strike me down and give me the flu on top of everything elseSad.

I've been super sick since Friday, deathly wish I was in the hospital sick since Saturday and maybe feeling a smidge better today after 14 hrs of sleep Saturday night and 12 last night.

If you've had a flu like this how long till you kicked it?

    We've got the pukie/cha,cha, cha cold/flu thing over here and the kids took a week to get over it. I've had it for almost a week now.

    The real flu? I had it once and it is the reason I get the flu shot now. Sorry, but once you've had the real flu you never want it again.

    It was a full week before I could function AT ALL and then a good two weeks before I was back to pretty much normal. It was awful. Hope you feel better soon!

    Just accepted that I'm sick as well.. I don't think its the flu ... but definitely a MEAN cold... I sound like 70 yr old smoker... hahaha. Voice is all crazy and coughing like mad. Makes my job a little funny since I'm on the phone ALL day with clients. Oh well. this too shall pass:)  Prays of health comin your way today!!!

    I sure think it's the real deal.  I've never had the flu either, and therefore don't get the flu shot and all day I've been thinking that's going to change.  I almost did it this year just because of the kids and damn now I wish I had.  I can't even function and had to have DH stay home.

    I had the H1N1 virus last year and I felt horrible for a week and then it took another week to start to feel like myself again.  

    I hope you feel better that flu was no joke!
