Where are the Crazy Mom stories?
My mom's not usually too bad, but she said something today that just made me roll my eyes. Earlier she looked at me and said "Hmm, you're not losing any weight, are you?" Then a little late, she suggested I wear a girdle. I'm one month PP and 15 lbs over pre-pregnancy weight. Apparently I'm a heifer. It's not like she's some skinny mini either, so she's one to talk.

Last night I took my brother out with us on a date from 3 to 7. I got him ice cream from baskin robin's and let him pick out candy for the movie, then took him to Yogi Bear. (horrible, terrible movie)
My brother is severely ADHD with dyslexia and oppositional defiance. He is a difficult kid when he has meds and a consistent reward/punishment system in place. My mom did not give him medicine and failed to warn me. UGH!
After the movie I called and asked her if she would start some dinner. She got all miffed and said, "I thought you were taking him to dinner?!? I don't have any groceries! I can't make anything. I haven't been able to grocery shop for weeks! You can just feed him and then bring him home." I told her that taking him to eat would be a terrible experience for everyone because I literally had to pry him off the walls at Baskin Robin's. I took him home and fed him and then sent him back to her.
Today I found out that while we were out on our date my cousin ran into her. at Walmart. trying on new jeans. Soooo I guess she went to the store, but didn't buy food?
Lovely. Please tell me this Wal-mart doesn't have a whole grocery section in it.

P.S. I think I would have cried at the weight comment from your mom. I don't get how anyone thinks it's ok to tell you you look anything other than "great" "amazing" or "fantastic".
