Or overpay each month if you can. We refinanced from 6.675% to 4.25%, but we still pay what we were paying before. An extra $250 a month on the principal!

We just did this also. Paying $100 more than we used to pay to have our loan paid off in 15 years. Not because we really want to be in this house in 15 years, but we want to build in a few and have quite a bit of equity. I highly recommend refinancing if you can. The rates are great right now!
