Parenting after 35

TWO molars! And she didn't even tell me ;)

No crankiness at all. She's been a little more difficult at meals, but really, I had no clue. She was excited when I felt them. She is walking around now with her mouth wide open like she is so proud. Probably because I freaked out and hugged her and screamed. LOL!

  • Yay for molars and NO crankiness!

Aaron's upper molars caused some crankiness but his bottoms (cutting his last one now) weren't as bad.  The canines, however... these are true hell.  He's working on all 4 right now.

  • Lucky you and lucky Sydney. Caroline has two working through right now and while she is horrible she is a drooling, chewing machine. She keeps bringing the tube of Baby Anbesol to me and throwing it at my face (her preferred method of making requests from me).

  • I don't know how we got so lucky. We've had it both ways with teething.

I wonder if it will get worse as they come all the way through? I would think that the hard part (cutting them) is over. But... then again, they aren't all the way cut. You can see the outsides of the teeth. But not the middle. Thoughts?

  • That's great!  I hope Rachel is the same when it is molar time. R is working on her top front teeth now and is doing fairly well with them but doesn't really want to eat her solids right now.

Well, in Aaron's case, when the rest of the molar came out, he cried. He bit into something hard and there was blood everywhere as the gum broke apart. Pretty gross, overall.  He has 3 molars fully out and the bottom left is only partially out (outsides).

  • Nice! One of Gracie' came in. It wasn't too bad. She is a drooling machine so I think #2 is coming.

I can totally imagine that now. They are rather large for their little mouths. When I first caught a glimpse of something white in the back of her mouth it looked like a tooth on the outside and a tooth on the inside. That's how far apart (and how much gum in is inbetween) them.

    Thanks for being honest.
