So Sadie is big. Like HUGE. She's in the 99th percentile for height/weight. At 9 weeks she was 14.4 lbs and 23 inches. Obviously she's been big since birth, but my question is, did you notice your baby's growth plateau at a certain point? I know she won't keep growing at quite this clip forever and I obviously know all kids are different, but I'm just curious. She is 12 weeks old now and wears 6-9 month clothing. Kid is a beast.
Re: Question re: baby growth.
Caleb is in the 300th percentile for height at 95th for weight.
He is starting to slow down now.
Jeebus. Jamie is just starting to fit into that size!!
To answer your question, he had a plateau at one point but then kept climbing again. The pedi said all babies do. I forget exactly when it was, but so far he has yet to follow the norm for growth spurts.plateaus, so basically, ::every baby is different dust:: lol.
DD was always tall until she slowed down around age 2 and a half. She was the size of many 5 year olds at that point, then just stalled out completely.
Now she's one of the smallest in her grade. She's 5' 2.5" and god forbid you forget to mention that half inch.
Callie was always in the 95-98th percentile when she was a baby, and she's still up there. When I took her for her 3 year well child check she was in the 95th for height and 90th for weight. The doctor said that at 3 years she is the size of an average 4 year old, or a small 5 year old. All of her clothes are 4's, and quite a few shirts are 5's (she's long waisted like me). We're not sure where the height is coming from - I'm 5'5 and DH is only 5'8! The doc said not to worry though since she's proportional.
My cousins were both the same way - they were always bigger than they "should" be for their age. Now as full grown adults one in 5'2 and the other is 5'9, so who knows how big our kids will actually end up!
Amanda left the hospital around 6lbs, and 19inches.
By 2 months she was 12lbs+ and 24inches.
She stayed big until after 6 months She was 18lbs and 27in.
@ her 9month apmt she was 18lb 15ounces and 27.75in.
She is thinning out, she has been in size 4 diapers since she was about 4 or 5 months old. She is still in size 4 and now they are getting to be too big on her. Crazy!

it's the Bug and Baby Belle!
We have wasted soooo many diapers. She wore NB diapers for all of 5 minutes, wore size 1-2 for about 3 weeks and now is in size 2s but who knows for how long? We had bought a giant box of size 1-2s at Costco and she started blowing them out halfway through. The YWCA loves us, we've donated so many diapers to them!
