Success after IF

I'm sitting here eating banana puffs. lol

Someone gave us two tubes of puffs (we havent started finger foods yet) and I wanted to try them out. They are actually pretty good and not a bad snack for adults on a diet. You can eat 73 pieces and its only 25 calories and 6 carbs - plus they claim to be full of vitamins. Hmmm. Even if you doubled your serving size, thats still a low cal/healthy snack. :-)

  • The apple cinnamon ones are my fave, I purposely give D every other flavor but that so I can have more for myself
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

LOL! I am so excited. Seriously, I always want something crunchy when I am dieting. I might have to buy myself some more. Hah. And apple cinnamon - yum!

  • lol!!  i kept yelling at DH last night for eating DS's sweet potato puffs :)
  • I saw these out on the counter today and almost reached for them, but then I thought, "You can't do that!".  hahahaha...oh yes you can!

  • Ha, back when I was buying yogurt melts for Elizabeth, I think I usually ate more than she did. They were pretty good!

Ooooh! I saw those on the shelf the other day. I bet those are lower in carbs as well for a good snack on my diet. hehe. :-)

  • OMG, yogurt melts are nasty!  But the girls love 'em.

I used to munch on puffs, too!  Now I just eat their snack mix (Kix, Cheerios, Goldfish, Annie's Wheat Bunnies, and Crispix mixed together) like it's going out of style.  ;)

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • I have kind of a funny puffs story. My niece is a freshman in college and came home one weekend and was at my house.  She tried a puff and loved it.  So I guess when she was at target she picked up some for herself.  Well, when she was back at school, the boys from the apartment across from her were visiting, they saw the baby puffs, and were like, "Who is eating baby puffs?"  My niece was embarrassed so she just said my aunt has twins and they came to visit me and she must have forgot them:)

Hah! Thats a great story! Too funny! And I would have totally done the same thing. :-)

  • When I was dieting I totally bought tubs of Gerber veggie crunchies to bring to the office as a snack. The whole tub was only like 200 calories!

The Little Crunchies are fabulous - we usually just get the cheddar cheese ones.  Like cheese curls!!
