My son has his 1st cold (sneezing with clear nasal discharge, dry cough, generally looks like he doesn't feel well) . I've given him saline nasal spray, suctioned his nose, fed him, let him sleep/nap as long as he wants (I'm not forcing tummy time today if he's not feeling well).
What else can I do to make him comfortable?
I've called the pediatrician and am waiting for a call back to see if I need to take him in or if I can do something at home to help him feel better.
Re: My baby's 1st cold
Sounds like you're doing everything right. Just keep him nice and warm, and check his temp a few times a day.
I took LO into the bathroom, put a towel underneath the door, and turned the shower on the hottest it could go to let the room fill up with steam. It pretty much does the same as the saline nasal spray, but I think he liked how toasty it was
