Whato do you think?

I have really enjoyed reading this board and getting name ideas. After reading a lot of post and getting some opinions, I am starting over

 

I saw some names on here I really like, and just want some opinions~

 

Leighton - Would you say its a boy or girl name?   (I saw this on someones siggy, hope you don't mind that I want to add it to to list)

Camden (boy or girl??) My first thought was boy, but then I saw it listed for a girl

Mariah (girl)

Avery (girl)

    I like Leighton and I know 3 all boys.

    Camden is also a boy's name to me.

    Mariah is fine. Just NMS though.

    Avery is fine and I think really pretty just super popular at the moment.

    I don't understand liking a name without knowing what gender it is supposed to be for. When I am brainstorming names, I try to picture it on my child. If you can't even picture the gender of that child by a name, I would throw it out. I can understand liking a unisex name for a particular gender, but I am baffled by liking a name for either gender. 

    I think the Mariah Carey association would be too strong for me personally to use the name. It isn't a bad name though. 

    I used to love the name Avery for a boy so now I resent it as a girl's name. Sorry.

    leighton (girl) and every (either) yes! i like both. i don't like camden. it's a really dangerous and sad city in jersey, so i'll always think of that. not a fan of mariah.
